ABOUT ARTIST

Damien Hendrix is a recording artist and DJ who exists at the intersection of past and future. Today, he is known for his genre-defying sound - blending hip-hop, electronic, punk trap, and digi-core into something uniquely his own. Heavy Drum & Bass Roots. Multi-Genre Underground Energy. But long before the Snoop Dogg feature and the acclaim for his latest EP, he was a fixture in South Florida's underground electronic scene under the name KooL AiD.

From Konkrete Jungle roots to the future of the underground. From 2009 to 2012, Kool AiD performed at some of Miami's most iconic venues- Club Space (on the Terrace), Nocturnal, Mekka,Livingroom, Club Cinema, Club Exit, and Club Boca — spinning Drum & Bass, Progressive House, French House, Dubstep, and Belgian Techno. During this time, he was also a member of The Grime Monsters, Zona Entertainment, and Konkrete Jungle (DnB).

After more than a decade away from the decks, and returning as a member of Konkrete Jungle South Florida. Damien is rebranding as KoolAid and making his return to the Miami music scene. He’s relaunching the project alongside his current work as Damien Hendrix, offering clubs and festivals a rare dual-threat: a DJ who can move seamlessly from house and techno to hip-hop and punk trap in a single night—everything mixed live, on the fly.
